I ordered a printer online that the HN website indicated was in stock. I was advised by email the next day that it was not in stock and on back-order. Ten days later I emailed HN stating that I wanted to cancel the order. I did not receive a response after two days so I emailed HN again. Six days later the printer arrived and, once again I emailed HN three times saying I wanted to return it and receive a refund. To date I have not received any response from HN.
Their customer service and communications are non-existent.

I was trying to contact the customer supprt team via many channels, (i.e: whatsapp, online chat, etc..). Response was “ All our agents are busy. We would definitely get back to your query. Appreciate your patience.”

Order still not delivered after 2 weeks Melb-Syd thanks to HN/Aramex partnership. I tried contacting them through their customer service email and all I get is auto response and no follow up long after the 48hour reply time. Then I tried Contact Us on their website and Live Chat doesn't work. I don't do apps as it takes too long to go back and forth typing. Covid is not the right excuse to use as other couriers are delivering almost as quick as normal. No more buying for HN, I'll use other stores that have customer service that is actual customer service.

Day 1: purchased item online. Love the website. Very easy to use.
Day 7ish: received only 1 of 3 items.
Day 7: contacted them through WhatsApp, their "agents were busy and would get back to me ASAP"
Day 8: no response
Day 10: tried WhatsApp again, agents are still busy.

Bought pc online Tuesday. They denied our order, and yet took the money asap. Been given the run around since
Returned my faulty record player 3 months ago. After waiting and hearing nothing for two months I got an email to say it was determined faulty and that I would be issued a refund or replacement by Harvey Norman. That was over a month ago and have still heard nothing. Requested a call back three times. Beyond a joke.
- Ordered was processed delayed
- Had to follow for delivery but no response as such
- Delayed delivery was made with 1 missing monitors out of 2
- Followed up again but no response
- store team followed up and organised delivery of 2nd monitor
- still waiting on invoice
- reminder sent by no response
Pathetic customer service and poor response. Not going to use again.
No Coordination or communication gap between online and store team. Hard to get information

So I'm left with a piece of expensive junk I was never able to use, Harvey Norman has my money and aren't interested in meeting their obligations as a retailer dealing with their defective product. I purchased online which then apparently directed the sale to a store and then the store will not accept return. I’ve been talking to a ROBOT for 4 days with customer see one at to be contacting me in 24 hours and then will not have anymore response after engaging for around 10 minutes angry. 00000 recommendations

Take a lesson from Harvey Norman Online's "Customer Service Team". Ignore their existence. DO NOT ENGAGE.
If I could give negative stars, I would! There is NO customer service, It's literally non-existent. You feel like that dude on a dating app who hasn't realised he's been ghosted and sends "hey" and "wat up" every day for a month with no response.
The fact you cannot review them on Google or Facebook should tell you everything you need to know.

I placed the order online for buying HP 14 Athlon/4GB/128GB on September 2 and my credit card was deducted $448 at the same day. Today, I contacted Harvey Norman via WA and I had been told the order was still processed. Several hours later, I received the email from Harvey Norman that my order was cancelled. It is ridiculous. Now, I need to contact Harvey Norman to get a refund.

Purchased a Microwave Oven from Harvey Norman online on Monday. No options for click and collect within the covid-travel restricted areas close to my home. Requested the delivery option. Harvey Norman were honest and upfront about possible delivery delays of up to 3 weeks. To my delight, the order was processed and packaged within 24 hours from a HN store just outside my covid restricted travel zone (Maribyrnong store). Australia Post Express delivery was delayed by 1 day (which is outside of HN's control)- Microwave arrived Thursday the same week- safely wrapped and functioning perfectly. Thank-you to the wonderful Harvey Norman Maribyrnong store staff for your wonderful service.
Tried to use the click and collect to speed up the purchase of a desperately needed computer.
Order is still in a processing state after the $2800 was withdrawn from my account.
Tried to contact them via the online chat, the callback form and their answering machine attached to the complaints number. Still no response at all.
Called the store and the item is in stock but they have not received the order so can't do anything.
Now have to lodge a complaint with PayPal to try and recover the money.

Absolutely Terrible online team and never response, worst online shopping experience ever !
A online shopping is meant to be making life easier not harder . it’s been frustrating try to deal with Harvey Norman online shopping and impossible to get some information from the their team .
This is only a suggestion that to remove your online shopping function as this will definitely damage your reputation if it keeps happening.

Made an online order thinking they a reputable company. Been over a week and order is still shows processing. Tried to contact them via messenger and get the reply "You are now being transferred to a Customer Support Specialist. ". 4 hours and waiting. Good Guys or Bing Lee for me in future.

I ordered a coffee machine online which had offer of $80 cash-back. When it arrived there was absolutely no information of how to claim the cash-back and they never responded to many many emails, chat messages or phone messages left.
Eventually I had to go instore demand they told me how to submit it.
Clearly want to make it as hard as possible for you to claim to cash-back - Crooks.
And they never responded to any of my emails/messages (other than the automated reply).
Terrible service.

Ordered from Harvey Norman online (for click and collect) they didn't have the stock so they cancelled my order and said I'd get a refund in 3-5 days
I reordered from another store and picked up the stuff.
It's been three weeks and after many emails, and many attempts at their messaging service I'm still no closer to a refund.
I contacted consumer affairs and they got me to send a letter if I don't hear from them I'll have to lodge a VCAT claim.
Much easier to avoid Harvey Norman altogether!

Website etc works fine but once you make a purchase - ohhh mate, there is ZERO customer support. Agree with the other review from QLD that it takes 2 BUSINESS DAYS to hear from anyone. "Contact us on WhatsApp, iMessages, Messenger..." UMMM OK but you have to go through a CHATBOT, and once done, you have to wait 48-72 hours to hear from a human.
AND then God forbid you are not using your phone or laptop at the exact second they reply to you, you bloody miss the person and then you must wait another 48-72 hours.
Get your act together Hardly Normal.
I am satisfied with 1 of my 2 purchases however, which was delivered in 3 days VIC to NSW. But my rating still stands out of frustration.

Absolutely disgusting customer service. Appalling business model. No phone line to call with enquiries. Email enquiries not responded to. Use of messenger & whatsapp extremely unprofessional. No response to messenger message. Will never order online from Harvey Norman ever again. I would give ZERO stars if I could
Ordered and paid for online purchase. The purchase is still in review mode, reason is that for online protection. Today is the 4th day still not news. Harvey Norman is advertising "1 hour click and collect", just avoid the online store. No support for online purchase.

Purchased an air fryer 3months ago. The air fryer worked for one day. Have been emailing Harvey Norman to try and get a refund. They asked for a video of the faulty product so I sent one. Weeks later they ask me to send it back to them. I’m in lockdown atm but sent it on the 2nd August and emailed the receipt. 2 emails to them later I have had no communication. Terrible service and cheap crappy products online.
