No delivery info.
Australia Post tracking service is pathetic. When you log into the search page re deliveries '' NO DETAILS''
Seems like a total waste of time, no estimate at all of when you may receive your delivery.

Enter the convenient excuse for existing failures
Well how convenient is the current Covid 19 situation for AP. Nothing has really changed with the constant express post delays but now there is an excuse. How convenient. No price influenced guarantee but no price drop either. Pay the same, get less. AP motto.

Terrible!!!!
If only i could give no star for their service, i would! Been waiting for my parcel for over 2 weeks now. Received an email that my package is meant to be be delivered on the 20th then they sent me an email at the end of the day that it has been delayed in transit! It’s been 2 weeks now and still no update! Their live chat website is crap, the moment you speak to a live agent you get disconnected straight away! I would rather not use their service again if i could.!

Slowest delivery times!!
Very slow delivery times. All other couriers seem to be getting this right however Australia post delivery estimates are way off. I expect better from such a company. Still waiting a week past the promised delivery time.

Just pathetic.
Ordered a parcel from the States via DHL, took four days to arrive at my doorstep. Yet a parcel coming from Melbourne TO Melbourne STILL hasn't arrived three weeks on! The tracking info hasn't changed at all. They're blaming COVID, but other couriers seem to be managing just fine. On top of this I've had to be reimbursed for two parcels that were simply just 'lost'. The one parcel I have received from them I caught the driver just filling out a "Sorry we missed you card" and leaving it in my letter box. I walked outside and looked him straight in the eye as he did it!

Horrible postage service
Quick update from my one star review below. Australia post finally msgd saying they will deliver the parcel today and i indicated I'll be home. At 2.30 i checked online and it said package delivered. I was home waiting for the parcel all day and it WAS NOT delivered. Now not only is it over a week late for express post but Aus post is lying about delivering it. Unbelievable...i wish i could give them minus stars. Ill be paying more for any other postage company such as DHL from now on. At least you can be sure you'll get it. Aus Post reps if you are reading this..you had ONE job. Massive Fail!

World Class to 3rd World
Parcel sent from QLD to QLD a week ago is currently sitting in Melbourne, really? This is a label that we printed off Aus Post website so there is no problem with address etc... there is a big problem with your incredibly incompetent organization. The problem is it is taking a week or 2 to get any word back from anyone. I had to send an inquiry last week for another lost parcel, it still hasn't been delivered and still haven't had any word from Aus Post. This service has gone from a world class service to a 3rd world service. This service is so frustrating it would be good if you could actually hire people with brains and skills that did the work required.

7 days delay
My parcel has been sitting in the same Melbourne facility for 7 days. I have other parcels which are even shipped after my current waiting parcel, arrived. How long is it going to take to leave the warehouse and delivered? 7 days+? Still waiting for it.

Incompetent at best
I ordered from 3 different companies to stimulate the economy at the beginning of the month. 2 parcels are currently lost, they are over week late from estimated delivery time. The 3rd parcel arrived yesterday and the item inside was broken. It must have taken alot of repeated force to break this item as it was well wrapped and is solid wood. So now I have to spend time chasing up where my parcels are and contacting the sellers trying to arrange a refund. Seller refunded for broken item so now they are out of pocket for aus posts incompetence. They are definately not a delivery service as they have managed to lose and/or break all my parcels. Utterly useless.

Simply incompetent...
I live in Perth & I ordered an expensive electrical item to be sent by express post from Victoria. It was picked up by Aust Post on 15/04 and arrived at what I assume was a sorting facility the same day in Sommerton, Vic. It hasn't moved since. I know there are delays due to the coronavirus situation, but 2wks? Despite raising a query through AP website, heard nothing until several days ago when I received an automated response advising that my query was being 'looked into'. The message included a link that did not work, took me to a page that ...Read more
said it was no longer in use. Their chat bot is totally useless, online chat never works, I'm convinced it is just a scam. So who knows where the item is or if it will ever arrive. Why any company uses Aust Post defies belief, I have ordered other items from Eastern States during this Coronavirus which we're sent by courier, they have arrived in 4-6 days, by road no less. Government should launch an enquiry into AP, they do not care about their customers at all.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Express post is a joke
I sent a parcel from Penrith to sydney cbd which is only an hour drive apart and sent the parcel express, registered and insured and i was very confident they would prioritise it but nah, took a week to arrive!. From penrith, to alexandria, then back to the west again the following day to be delivered back to me the next day grrr! Very upset and contacted AP and a rep lied to me that there is an attempted delivery but parcel was rejected. Seriously? rn sydney at 12am to be delivered back to me the following day, im like what? Ok so what time is the attempted delivery between 6pm to 11 pm???, worst part i told the AP rep. since they cannot deliver my parcel i just do it myself and they just refund me my money and she answered that they only refund if the item is lost or damaged. It's like they have basically given up.
Why can other courier services still deliver within a day or 2 from interstate, and Aust Post has had my package for an entire month and no sign of delivery. It is beyond me why any retailers use Aust Post. They must be cheaper, but they let customers like me down again and again. If you have a business that sends products, I am sure your customers would be much happier if you used anything but Aust Post.

In the time of covid 19 - our postie fails miserably
So having all these restrictions, our postie thinks he's above the law.
He's approached me closely to hand me parcels when outside, he's tried to hand parcels to my husband through the door... hubby politely told him to leave in on the garden wall, and he got the postie version of the eyeroll...
WasPost, you gotta tell your posties AGAIN, that we are practicing social distancing... and make sure they adhere to it.
Apparently he's been doing the same all up the street... one of my elderly neighbours was so gobsmacked, he opened the door and just...Read more

How bloody ridiculous!
I ordered a product off iherb, their shipping service was able to get my parcel to the country in just 4 days! For another one, they took 10 days! However the fault was not with them after that, Australia post still has failed to deliver one of my parcel's on the 23rd April it is now 26th and to make things worse another parcel I have ordered has been in Brisbane since the 14th of April, except that one hasn't even made it into my city! Why do they purposely delay like this? This is not even a case of fewer flights or increased demand. This is ...Read more
just pure negligence! The CEO of this company should be sacked IMMEDIATELY, what a bloody joke, other companies like FedEx, DHL, USP can send their parcels efficiently however the Australia Post has earned its reputation as the world's WORST postal service, they DON'T even respond to your inquiries. At this point I am extremely fed up with their service, every single person involved in this poor quality of service should be sacked immediately, what a bloody joke! Yet another tale of gross incompetence
I placed an order on the 3rd of April from a company in metro Sydney for a replacement pipe for my vehicle's turbocharger system - as the old pipe had developed a crack and is leaking pressure. Obviously this renders my car undrivable until I can replace the component. AusPost didn't bother to collect it from the business until the 7th.
The tracking showed the package sitting at Melbourne airport with no updates for three weeks. The company I purchased it from responded to my inquiry and told me they have received information from Auspost stat...Read more
ing the package was lost. Come the 21st, I received a spontaneous update telling me that the package had been delivered. I was overjoyed to finally have the component I had waited so long for! Ignoring the fact that nobody had rung the bell or knocked on my door - I figured they'd done the usual drop or card and run instead, but that was okay so long as I was able to receive it. I checked the mailbox - no card. Checked the usual places that they leave things - no package. At this point, I checked the tracking - they certainly had delivered it - to an undisclosed address in a neighbouring suburb! I immediately lodged an inquiry with AusPost. I did not receive a response in the promised 24-48 hours, nor any time after. I also contacted the business I had bought the part from. They were kind enough to send out another part...with AusPost. I'll give you a guess as to where the tracking says it has been for the last four days...Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Hi I'm not an Aust Post Employee, just a disgruntled customer like you, I would suggest you make an online complaint like I did and screen shot the tracking to attach with your complaint like I did, good luck hope you receive your parcel eventually.

Hi, is the MyPost app currently not in operation? Express Post parcel I have sent 16/4 and express post parcel sent to me 21/4 are both reading PENDING. Thank you.

It may depend on where it’s coming from as postal service has changed it’s devices etc due to virus
I see. I sent one from Bass, Vic to Darwin NT. And the one sent to me was sent from Somerville Vic to Bass Vic
Hey Moi, having just finished going through this myself, this is what I know: You go to the AP website, then you need to dig around there until you find the delays info. You need to click on a few links, The last time I looked it was in the FAQ, via Covd 19 Domestic post updates. There is an update there from 14 April which says delivery to country and regional areas "may be delayed by up to X days...". Under this, both Darwin and metro Perth are listed, as both cities (except for CBD postcodes I think) are considered as regional and outside the express network for next day guarantee. Also at some point recently, the gaurantee was suspended, although the info is that Express is still the fastest way to send and natuirally still costs the same. I seem to remember that for Darwin it may have read " up to three days...". So whatever the expected time is for Victoria to Darwin via Express, you add 3 days to that. You have to dig even deeper to discover what the expected time fro Express delivery is to Darwin, but as I did find the table giving estimates recently I remember that Darwin from non regional Vic was 1-3 or maybe 1-4 business days. So if AP had your mail on 16/04,it would be expected on say 21 April (4 business days) at the latest in Darwin, then add 3 days for C19 delay and that takes you to 24th April ie tomorrow. That's just according to the unsimple, ambiguous and difficult to access info on the website. There is a more general statement that is more accessible that predicts " a few days delay" whilst other pages say "significant delays". So who knows?! A 'few" usually means three so. My express parcel Sydney to Perth took 14 days.
