No delivery info.

Australia Post tracking service is pathetic. When you log into the search page re deliveries '' NO DETAILS''
Seems like a total waste of time, no estimate at all of when you may receive your delivery.

Enter the convenient excuse for existing failures

published

Well how convenient is the current Covid 19 situation for AP. Nothing has really changed with the constant express post delays but now there is an excuse. How convenient. No price influenced guarantee but no price drop either. Pay the same, get less. AP motto.

Terrible!!!!

published

If only i could give no star for their service, i would! Been waiting for my parcel for over 2 weeks now. Received an email that my package is meant to be be delivered on the 20th then they sent me an email at the end of the day that it has been delayed in transit! It’s been 2 weeks now and still no update! Their live chat website is crap, the moment you speak to a live agent you get disconnected straight away! I would rather not use their service again if i could.!

Slowest delivery times!!

published

Very slow delivery times. All other couriers seem to be getting this right however Australia post delivery estimates are way off. I expect better from such a company. Still waiting a week past the promised delivery time.

Just pathetic.

published

Ordered a parcel from the States via DHL, took four days to arrive at my doorstep. Yet a parcel coming from Melbourne TO Melbourne STILL hasn't arrived three weeks on! The tracking info hasn't changed at all. They're blaming COVID, but other couriers seem to be managing just fine. On top of this I've had to be reimbursed for two parcels that were simply just 'lost'. The one parcel I have received from them I caught the driver just filling out a "Sorry we missed you card" and leaving it in my letter box. I walked outside and looked him straight in the eye as he did it!

Horrible postage service

published

Quick update from my one star review below. Australia post finally msgd saying they will deliver the parcel today and i indicated I'll be home. At 2.30 i checked online and it said package delivered. I was home waiting for the parcel all day and it WAS NOT delivered. Now not only is it over a week late for express post but Aus post is lying about delivering it. Unbelievable...i wish i could give them minus stars. Ill be paying more for any other postage company such as DHL from now on. At least you can be sure you'll get it. Aus Post reps if you are reading this..you had ONE job. Massive Fail!

World Class to 3rd World

published

Parcel sent from QLD to QLD a week ago is currently sitting in Melbourne, really? This is a label that we printed off Aus Post website so there is no problem with address etc... there is a big problem with your incredibly incompetent organization. The problem is it is taking a week or 2 to get any word back from anyone. I had to send an inquiry last week for another lost parcel, it still hasn't been delivered and still haven't had any word from Aus Post. This service has gone from a world class service to a 3rd world service. This service is so frustrating it would be good if you could actually hire people with brains and skills that did the work required.

7 days delay

My parcel has been sitting in the same Melbourne facility for 7 days. I have other parcels which are even shipped after my current waiting parcel, arrived. How long is it going to take to leave the warehouse and delivered? 7 days+? Still waiting for it.

Incompetent at best

published

I ordered from 3 different companies to stimulate the economy at the beginning of the month. 2 parcels are currently lost, they are over week late from estimated delivery time. The 3rd parcel arrived yesterday and the item inside was broken. It must have taken alot of repeated force to break this item as it was well wrapped and is solid wood. So now I have to spend time chasing up where my parcels are and contacting the sellers trying to arrange a refund. Seller refunded for broken item so now they are out of pocket for aus posts incompetence. They are definately not a delivery service as they have managed to lose and/or break all my parcels. Utterly useless.

Absolute waste of time, trying to deal with AustPost about a lost parcel

If I could rate Aust Post lower than 1 star I would! most difficult Company to deal with, on a par with Foxtel for lack of help in dealing with a customers situation.

Express post is a joke

published

It's like they have basically given up.

Why can other courier services still deliver within a day or 2 from interstate, and Aust Post has had my package for an entire month and no sign of delivery. It is beyond me why any retailers use Aust Post. They must be cheaper, but they let customers like me down again and again. If you have a business that sends products, I am sure your customers would be much happier if you used anything but Aust Post.

Hi I'm not an Aust Post Employee, just a disgruntled customer like you, I would suggest you make an online complaint like I did and screen shot the tracking to attach with your complaint like I did, good luck hope you receive your parcel eventually.

Hey Moi, having just finished going through this myself, this is what I know: You go to the AP website, then you need to dig around there until you find the delays info. You need to click on a few links, The last time I looked it was in the FAQ, via Covd 19 Domestic post updates. There is an update there from 14 April which says delivery to country and regional areas "may be delayed by up to X days...". Under this, both Darwin and metro Perth are listed, as both cities (except for CBD postcodes I think) are considered as regional and outside the express network for next day guarantee. Also at some point recently, the gaurantee was suspended, although the info is that Express is still the fastest way to send and natuirally still costs the same. I seem to remember that for Darwin it may have read " up to three days...". So whatever the expected time is for Victoria to Darwin via Express, you add 3 days to that. You have to dig even deeper to discover what the expected time fro Express delivery is to Darwin, but as I did find the table giving estimates recently I remember that Darwin from non regional Vic was 1-3 or maybe 1-4 business days. So if AP had your mail on 16/04,it would be expected on say 21 April (4 business days) at the latest in Darwin, then add 3 days for C19 delay and that takes you to 24th April ie tomorrow. That's just according to the unsimple, ambiguous and difficult to access info on the website. There is a more general statement that is more accessible that predicts " a few days delay" whilst other pages say "significant delays". So who knows?! A 'few" usually means three so. My express parcel Sydney to Perth took 14 days.
