Terrible service.
Express post has not arrived and it’s been 1 month. Still waiting.
Will not bother wasting money getting express post again.
It’s a joke and I am not impressed.

As bad as it get
I couldn't be angrier at Australia Post. They have long been a hopelessly disorganised business, it comes as no surprise when a large event like this sends their delivery network into a spin.
I've had many many parcels in the last month, absolutely all of them have been very very late, anything from 4 days late to 2 weeks late on a normally 2 day service. They are very quick to blame covid 19, but it's quite clear that they either didn't have a plan for a major event like this, or the plan didn't work.
I've had three parcels arrive on the s...Read more
ame day, two of which came from the same depot, but with different drivers. Efficiency right there. I would say if your 2 day delivery service is now taking 7 days, or your 7 day delivery service is now taking 20 days, which describe 4 of my parcels that have still not arrived, then you have some pretty major problems. Why in this case, do they continue to accept new parcels? Really they should be restricting how much they take on until they can clear the backlog and stabilise things. The other couriers don't seem to have problems, they have all been delivering with only minor or no delays, even their own Startrack arm, so it's not like there isn't an alternative for businesses to get parcels delivered.1 comment

Item delivered to another address
I have been waiting on a parcel from Sydney to Melbourne since 4th April, with tracking, I paid express post and via PayPal for buyer protection, here we are 3rd May, thought it was delayed due to so many extra parcels being delivered with online shopping, re used the tracking and found my parcel has been delivered to an address in Sydney..... !!! what the hell how does this happen? it never even left the state but was delivered. Ok now is the time for Aust Post to create more employment for delivery of parcels, there are many out of work who w...Read more
ould jump at the opportunity to have a job, online sales are only going to increase putting more demand on delivery services, create more jobs and get the job done, I have been social distancing as per the rules, ordered a game online which I could have driven the 30 minute drive to collect but chose to deliver in order to "Stay At Home" non essential trips, 5 weeks later I am still waiting for the parcel to arrive, even with tracking it has not been scanned into the system which may well mean that the parcel is in someone else's hands now, hope you enjoy playing my game which i paid for.Similar opinion? Express post delayed
Not happy that most of the express post I have sent recently has been delayed by 3 days. I chose express for a reason and paid extra for nothing. so disappointed

Can’t even deliver an email. What a joke.
Parcel 10 days sitting in one spot. No update. No movement. Try to enquire with aust post. Need to sign up to their garbage website To make email enquiry. Trying to get them to send verification email 3 times, to post email to them, but their email is a no show! I guess they just turned it off?
A postal service that can’t even deliver an email. If it wasn’t my parcel it would be hilarious.

Disappointing express post service
In the current COVID-19 state it's understandable that there are delays however there is little to no communication from Australia Post and to allow companies to still use and charge for an express post service when there is no way they can achieve these timelines is absolutely unacceptable. Australia Post is just ripping off customers currently.

Stop accepting people's money and failing to provide the service
I refer to https://auspost.com.au/mypost/track/#/details/33G78625401801000935006. To those defending Australia Post due to the pandemic, I am part of the health care industry and fortunately still have a job serving the public. Yes, the pandemic has made things difficult for everyone. However, to cope with this increased demand, we got more staff on board. We continue to deliver the standard of care expected of us; otherwise patients literally die. If you aren't able to do the job that your customers pay you for, you need to refer them to someo...Read more
ne else who can. Stop happily accepting people's money and then losing parcels like what Australia Post has done with mine, which I ordered on 30 March from Sydney to be delivered to Melbourne. I did not hear anything of it until I lodged a claim almost two weeks later, which Australia Post admitted not being able to locate it. Fortunately it was not an expensive item. The seller kindly refunded me and I hope he got his money back from Australia Post. I am not going to use Australia Post anymore until this pandemic is over. I would rather pick up items from stores myself or use a different postal service.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Still waiting a month after orderingt
YET AGAIN, I am waiting on the package I ordered well before Easter and it has been sitting at a sorting facility at Melbourne for the last 10 days. Seriously? The order I placed hours before, with the same company, dispatched at THE SAME TIME, is STILL not here when my other order arrived 2 weeks ago? I am so sick of having to rely on Australia Post for most of my post needs. It should be criminal to hold onto things for as long as you do. There is no point calling to complain because "oh, the bushfires make it harder", "things are taking long...Read more
er right now because of COVID", or multiple other serious excuses that essentially mean nothing because this happens ALL THE TIME! along with my post not being delivered, or being delivered to the wrong address consistently. For a while the postie was just not even attempting to deliver parcels and not even leaving the card! So many ongoing issues for well over a year with promises of contact to resolve and no follow up. Nobody seem to communicate with one another at Aus Post because they all have different reasons/excuses and false information given constantly, even in writing! Just disgusting service. There needs to be a complete overhaul and possibly Royal Commission.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Didnt deliver and now wants to charge me
The mypost card said that delivery was on 24 April 2020. The item was supposed to be left as per instructions to sender. Now it says I have to pay an over the counter fee. Am not happy and will be using a courier next time.

Delays but understandable
My delivery was expected on Monday the 27th April but it's only just arrived today (30th).
I can understand there are delays currently due to the increased amount of mail and parcels being sent due to the current isolation rules.
However I do believe Australia post should have found ways and adapted quicker to the situation.

3 parcels no show in 3 weeks .
I have 2 domestic & 1 international package dissapear in Australia. Would have to assume there are some auspost employees out there using the Covid Viris as an excuse to steal parcels. Knowing that the Covid 19 Viris as their excuse / crutch. This is why we need more than just a monopoly in the Australian marketplace.

Snails are faster than Australia Pist
Terrible and slow in delivering parcels within Australia. Snails are faster then this nonsense company. Watch out of Chullora post office where they hold parcels for a long time. Doves would be faster than this pathetic slow moving monster.

Nothing but slow
A parcel from the UK has been processed in Sydney for 3 weeks, a parcel to German does not update over a month. Au post is doing so well by delivering goods by feet and swimming.

Australia Post is damaging my Business
I have just gone online for my bulbs this year and have been shipping my bulbs via Australia Post.
What a bit mistake this was, one parcel went from Cockatoo to Lower Templestowe and it took 21 days,
I currently have 19 parcels that are undelivered. How to i expect to get return business from these customers if Australia post continues this level of service. I understand there are some delays due to the current covid situation but the delays are out of control. Why doesn't Australia Post employ some of the thousands of people who are out of wo...Read more

Marginal reliability
I currently have several packages delayed by weeks or missing altogether - across Express, Standard and International items that have documented arrival into Australia. The AusPost tracking system is frequently inaccurate and so far, Australia Post has proven unable or unwilling to respond to related inquiries. It appears they have been overwhelmed by current circumstances and have proven largely unable to adapt. Really unfortunate. I've ceased any ordering using them as a result.

Slow and incompetent
Two weeks waiting for a parcel to arrive from Melbourne to Newcastle & it still hasn’t arrived. It was mailed from Melbourne to Sydney. Stayed in Sydney for a week prior to being sent to Adelaide. It’s now sitting in Adelaide waiting to be returned to Sydney so it can be sent to Newcastle. I have been in touch with Australia Post several times but they do not respond and do not help. I would never recommend Australia Post to anyone.

No delivery info.
Australia Post tracking service is pathetic. When you log into the search page re deliveries '' NO DETAILS''
Seems like a total waste of time, no estimate at all of when you may receive your delivery.

Enter the convenient excuse for existing failures
Well how convenient is the current Covid 19 situation for AP. Nothing has really changed with the constant express post delays but now there is an excuse. How convenient. No price influenced guarantee but no price drop either. Pay the same, get less. AP motto.

Hi I'm not an Aust Post Employee, just a disgruntled customer like you, I would suggest you make an online complaint like I did and screen shot the tracking to attach with your complaint like I did, good luck hope you receive your parcel eventually.

Hi, is the MyPost app currently not in operation? Express Post parcel I have sent 16/4 and express post parcel sent to me 21/4 are both reading PENDING. Thank you.

It may depend on where it’s coming from as postal service has changed it’s devices etc due to virus
I see. I sent one from Bass, Vic to Darwin NT. And the one sent to me was sent from Somerville Vic to Bass Vic
Hey Moi, having just finished going through this myself, this is what I know: You go to the AP website, then you need to dig around there until you find the delays info. You need to click on a few links, The last time I looked it was in the FAQ, via Covd 19 Domestic post updates. There is an update there from 14 April which says delivery to country and regional areas "may be delayed by up to X days...". Under this, both Darwin and metro Perth are listed, as both cities (except for CBD postcodes I think) are considered as regional and outside the express network for next day guarantee. Also at some point recently, the gaurantee was suspended, although the info is that Express is still the fastest way to send and natuirally still costs the same. I seem to remember that for Darwin it may have read " up to three days...". So whatever the expected time is for Victoria to Darwin via Express, you add 3 days to that. You have to dig even deeper to discover what the expected time fro Express delivery is to Darwin, but as I did find the table giving estimates recently I remember that Darwin from non regional Vic was 1-3 or maybe 1-4 business days. So if AP had your mail on 16/04,it would be expected on say 21 April (4 business days) at the latest in Darwin, then add 3 days for C19 delay and that takes you to 24th April ie tomorrow. That's just according to the unsimple, ambiguous and difficult to access info on the website. There is a more general statement that is more accessible that predicts " a few days delay" whilst other pages say "significant delays". So who knows?! A 'few" usually means three so. My express parcel Sydney to Perth took 14 days.
Danielle Pinalasked
Hi how can we tell if my parcel has been taken to a post office? 2 weeks ago i ordered and it it says tracking number provided and tracking number approved. not in in transit or anything. is Sydney to Adelaide so seeing its been 2 weeks im assuming it hasn't been posted at all?
