Are you kidding me
Ordered a item on Monday 20th and ask when will this be delivered I am told Australia post will deliver Tuesday, so I'm waiting for it it doesn't arrive Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday so now I have discovered it says expected delivery somewhere between 29 April and 2 May I am stunned with such a dismal service I don't know what to say

Slow delivery but doing their best under trying circumstances
At the moment Aussie Post are being hammered with increased demand as everybody is sitting at home ordering stuff online. At the same time they CANT increase their staff numbers in the parcel centres due to Covid19 social distancing restrictions. Everybody who is saying they are making "huge profits" and not delivering needs to think of this. Sure they are being inundated with parcels, BUT other parts of their business have collapsed. Letter volumes were in freefall before the virus, and with business's closed that has only got worse. Othe...Read more
r profitable serivces like passport interviews have also collapsed, as the borders are closed and nobody can leave the country. I dont work for Aussie Post, and have experienced delays myself recently with mail and parcels, but everybody needs to understand they are also doing it tough like everybody else. Austalia Post is a governement business enterprise (they are not govt funded), they need to earn their revenue to survive just like every other private business, they are not the public service. Postal workers are some of the lowest paid of all public sector workers, they are doing their best under trying circumstances. Everybody getting on here complaining that "their" parcel is late, needs to understand that their parcel is not the the only one in the system. Next time you visit a post office, thank your local Aussie Post staff for doing a good job under trying circumstances, because they are.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

No updates, no delivery, no customer service, rubbish company.
Weeks since ordering. Company submitted the pickup details and it hasn’t moved. Submitted several enquires and no response. Try to get advice by phone, runs through and automated system then hangs up on you with no actual update, full rubbish company.
If you can’t meet even close to the delivery time. 5 days, and it’s been 5 weeks then don’t state a delivery time.

Hi have had a parcel sitting in Melbourne Australia for 3 days and has not moved at all. I know that Aus post is flat out but how did the million dollar payed boss let the company get to this point the public knew that it was going to happen.

Will never trust Aust Post again
Ive been waiting almost 4 weeks for a parcel coming to me from within Victoria so putting the blame on planes not flying is not a valid excuse in this case. Covid-19 aside, there’s been many issues over the years but this is the last straw. After two weeks of waiting I was annoyed but trying to be patient....after 4 weeks I’m just really, really angry.

Auspost CEO should be sacked
I send over 3000 items a year via Auspost as where I live I dont have any other option. Even before the virus their service was poor. One year they lost 62 items I had sent.
Now they are an incompetent joke. I sent 2 parcels to melbourne one was delivered on time the other is going in circles nearly three weeks later. The customer service agents are a waste of time. They couldnt care less and use the virus as excuses for Ausposts stupidity. They tried to say as there were no flights that is what slowed my mail. I cant see how that could be the ...Read more

Aus Post don’t care
Package is waiting at Melbourne facility for good 18 days. Every one knows Aus post are dealing with lot of deliveries due to COVID 19 BUT fact is in Aus post no one wants to find the solution of the problem because of their laziness. They are making huge profits and still they don’t want to hire more staff to help themselves and customers as so many people are jobless.

Slow this time but understandable
I thought my package was stuck in a Sydney sorting facility but it’s still with customs.
AusPost were helpful replying to my enquires to help me understand the tracking process better.

Slow yet again.
Again Australia Post is late, order express from Melbourne to Perth last week with the due date on Tuesday, it says it's arrived in Perth but is delayed. Tried to ask if I could go and collect it, apparently that's not possible. So then I asked why is it sitting in a warehouse 20mins from me to no certain answer. They are now hiding behind the coronavirus as an excuse but I have recently got a package from Japan delivered in less than 5 days.
Don't want the parcel to get stolen so I have now been sitting at home for 3 days now waiting....
If you or a friend has a similar experience tell them to complain as that's basically the only way this will change.

Express Post not reliable!
Express Parcel Post within Melbourne suburbs. Tracking No#R326895022299491 was posted on 16 of April. It wasn’t delivered until 21 of April. Paid extra for Express Post but it is not reliable.

Unacceptable delay
Been waiting for a parcel for 2 weeks now, stuck at a post office 30 mins from where I live, totally unacceptable even under today's circumstances. At the time of writing, the parcel has not arrived yet. No update from aus post even after filing a complaint.

Could have walked it!
As a business mailing Aust Wide and taking complaints on slow mail delivery.
Example Country Vic to Country Vic distance 43 Kms it took 21 days!
Another of our customers Country Vic to South Western Australia 31 days! Australia Post should get credit for the time mail took to get to WA compared to distance from Vic Country to Vic Country.
All facts true as their Tracking Site online.
AND postage stamps increased by 10 cents in January. Last nights news has said now that Aust Post will only be delivering every SECOND day to Metro areas????? Well!

Finally arrived, after 20 days
19 days ago Virgin Australia despatched my JB hi-fi redemption gift cards, they have not arrived. I contacted velocity, they confirmed the cards had been posted. I honestly thought the despatched gift cards were lost/stolen.

Very satisfying
I use this service often to send parcels to my daughter who is living and working overseas. The delivery is very timely and my packages always arrive in excellent condition. Pricing for sending is comparable to using a courier service

Slow and slower
Aus Post, by definition, has one job. To deliver post!
Slow, lost, tracking that doesn't update. I have multiple parcels as both sender and receiver, that are either taking a ridiculously long time, or deemed "lost in transit".
And not just in the current climate. A year ago, I posted birthday present was posted express from WA to Melbourne. I watched it on tracking go back and forth THREE times between Perth and Melbourne!
Once I contacted Aus Post it was finally delivered to the address in Melbourne, 17 days after posting it Express.

Still waiting for delivery
I made an online purchase 5 weeks ago within Australia and still to this day I still haven't received my parcel. For the past 4 weeks it's been sitting in the Whelshpool depot down the road from me and I can't do a single thing about it. So close yet so far. After writing to Aust Post they have advised that it will be another 2 weeks. That's 7 weeks to get a small parcel delivered metro within Australia. And that's if I get then.

Worst postage ever
I hate Auspost so much, what a horrible company. First off, their support is non existent, their live chat never is online, their phone line has 40 min waits and they are rude, and their Twitter support just ignore you.
It has been 6 days since my Express Parcel has not been shipped yet. They gurantee next day delivery but I still have nothing. I have no way to get a hold of them and I still have not recieved my parcel. The sender is only 20km away from me in the Sydney Metro area and it still has not arrived. At this point, I have to literal...Read more
ly result to making a negative review to get a hold of them. I am extremely frustrated and I have been scammed of my money. Also the postie always skips to a point where I get mail only 2 days a week. Despicable, the Government need to fully reform this corrupt company.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Hi I'm not an Aust Post Employee, just a disgruntled customer like you, I would suggest you make an online complaint like I did and screen shot the tracking to attach with your complaint like I did, good luck hope you receive your parcel eventually.

Hi, is the MyPost app currently not in operation? Express Post parcel I have sent 16/4 and express post parcel sent to me 21/4 are both reading PENDING. Thank you.

It may depend on where it’s coming from as postal service has changed it’s devices etc due to virus
I see. I sent one from Bass, Vic to Darwin NT. And the one sent to me was sent from Somerville Vic to Bass Vic
Hey Moi, having just finished going through this myself, this is what I know: You go to the AP website, then you need to dig around there until you find the delays info. You need to click on a few links, The last time I looked it was in the FAQ, via Covd 19 Domestic post updates. There is an update there from 14 April which says delivery to country and regional areas "may be delayed by up to X days...". Under this, both Darwin and metro Perth are listed, as both cities (except for CBD postcodes I think) are considered as regional and outside the express network for next day guarantee. Also at some point recently, the gaurantee was suspended, although the info is that Express is still the fastest way to send and natuirally still costs the same. I seem to remember that for Darwin it may have read " up to three days...". So whatever the expected time is for Victoria to Darwin via Express, you add 3 days to that. You have to dig even deeper to discover what the expected time fro Express delivery is to Darwin, but as I did find the table giving estimates recently I remember that Darwin from non regional Vic was 1-3 or maybe 1-4 business days. So if AP had your mail on 16/04,it would be expected on say 21 April (4 business days) at the latest in Darwin, then add 3 days for C19 delay and that takes you to 24th April ie tomorrow. That's just according to the unsimple, ambiguous and difficult to access info on the website. There is a more general statement that is more accessible that predicts " a few days delay" whilst other pages say "significant delays". So who knows?! A 'few" usually means three so. My express parcel Sydney to Perth took 14 days.
