Promised assembled product and got a flat pack. Then asked to go find someone on air tasker to assemble it.
I bought a TV unit from the Oxley branch and was told Eureka will have the it fully assembled.. I double checked before pick up and was told again that will come fully assembled. However, we were given a flat pack. When I rang Oxley branch, I was advised to find someone from air tasker to do it. Gobsmacked! Please do not promise assembly if you can deliver. It is a complex piece of furniture and we would have decided otherwise. Making empty promises just to make a sale is very very poor practice.

Fantastic service and products
I received fantastic service from Sharon in Slacks Creek Eureka Street furniture. She was patient, knew her product and was able to advice what stock they had at the moment. I purchased a dining setting which was delivered within 3 days and I have ordered a buffet as well which will be delivered in the early new year. The delivery staff were also lovely. They called first and texted an estimated time of delivery. Thank you for a quality product and amazing service. I am hoping now to save up for more from the Cannes range. Regards Stacey

not impressed
My wife and I purchased some really beautiful furniture from the MacGregor QLD store in July 2022, we where very happy at the time of our purchase, and looked forward to the arrival of the furniture for our new home. We have received over a few months most of our furniture, but are still waiting for our king size bed frame. Which apparently will show up in January 2020 awesome not.

Salesperson SAM was very knowledgeable and professional in assisting us with our purchases. She displayed excellent communication skills, listening to our needs without overselling. Good judgement.

terrible shopping experience
The first time we went there the really friendly staff told us could pay 30 % deposit first and pay the rest once them come in. When we go there next time, a really rude staff told us to pay it all in once and when I told him I saw it can be paid by amex on the official website. He was really unpleasant with us saying that they dont take it and later on says they take with surcharg(e. I was really surprised with this appalling customer service.

Feel cheated
We ordered bedroom furniture Albury bedside along with 9 chest drawer for $1400, and paid $700 as the deposit and the ordered hasnt been fulfilled as yet.In mean time on Black Friday the price went down to $ 1247.00. We were told during the purchase we are able to cancel and get the deposit transferred in another order.We visited the store in Fyshwick during Black Friday sale. And requested to cancel the current ordered and buy additional furniture along with the same Albury furniture. However, the store Manager Hugh refused our request. We were completely misguided and the customer experience was pathetic.We hope since the ordered has not fulfilled we should be entitled to be able to cancel and reorder the furniture.

Such friendly, helpful staff
Recently when moving to a new house we purchased several items of furniture from Eureka Street in Cairns.
Tina, Skye and the manager (whose name we do not know) were very, very helpful and friendly.
I am also pleased to say that our furniture arrived on the day we had arranged and all in good order. Great quality too - worth paying for.

Great service and my mum loves the sofa bed!
My mother urgently needed sofa bed for coming visitors. This was one of the few stores which had the sofas available quickly and the bed was actually comfortable! The service was very friendly and helpful in determining our needs. We would definitely return.

Disappointing After Sales Service
Bought two display units from the Warners Bay Store. The day I saw them in the shop I was encouraged to buy as there was a 30% sale and it was only on for a few more days. However the following day they had dropped a massive $600.00 because it was discontinued. The delivery man was very friendly and punctual. The disappointing thing was that there were three dents in the drawers and some marks on inside of the doors. There are a few marks here and there as I bought two but due to really liking the cabinets overall, I will not contact consumer affairs. I did send a courteous email to the company who acknowledged my email stating that this experience has left a bad taste in my mouth and because I stated that I like the cabinets they praised me for 'rising above this impression' and that just because it is discounted and discontinued, that it should not have been of less quality'. Well disappointedly the quality was not the standard I expected and I will not set foot in their store again, due to lack of after sale service and goodwill/integrity. I shared this experience with another furniture company who shook their head, but suggested sanding is not appropriate for white lacquered furniture but to use some patch up paste which I have purchased and this has made me a great deal happier.Similar opinion? Great service.
My husband and I were served by a lovely young lady called Sam at the west Gosford store. Sam was very knowledgeable and interested in helping us without being pushy. Great price as well. We brought a beautiful table and chairs and then we waited for them to arrive, Sam followed up with a call about delivery within the time she stated. Little Girlasked
I have purchased many items from Eureka.
Have been happy until today. I purchased 2 Hamptons display cabinets. I feel as though the glass is going to break when I try to put the shelves in. Has anyone else had the same problem?

Update. After checking and rechecking instructions, I VERY carefully inserted successfully, 2 shelves. VERY tight. Started on the third, and to my immense disappointment, the glass cracked. I am really annoyed with myself, as my gut told me it should not have been that difficult to slide shelving in place. I will be most interested in Eurekas response when I phone them at 9am. I’ve been reading reviews most of the night. I absolutely love the look of ALL the furniture I’ve purchased from Eureka, and I buy it knowing that it is made offshore and that it is probably not considered ‘high end’ quality. At my stage in life I don’t want to spend a fortune on furniture and I have always considered Eureka good value for money. Perhaps the staff could have inserted the shelves? It didn’t come wrapped so the shelves could have come in place. I have no issue with the staff at the store, Ballina, they are lovely people. Hoping for a positive outcome.
Update. And no, I’m not an idiot.
Curious and with nothing to lose, I thought I would insert the shelves into the second display cabinet. Low and behold, all four shelves slipped onto place with ease and looks exactly as it should!!!. It would appear the shelves in the first cabinet were simply not cut EXACTLY to size. Thus, when I used very little pressure, the glass cracked.
Hopefully Eureka will come to the party and simply replace the top half of the first cabinet.
Thanks for allowing me to vent.
