We went to a range of volume and small builders for our demo/rebuild, and GJ Gardiner in Essendon were an easy pick straight away. They provided flexibility in the design process, even though we started with a pre-engineered plan. We moved some of the house around, had a decrease in the width of the original design (which very few builders do!!), and even changed some features as we went along. Absolutely embarrassing - The level of incompetence is astonishing!
I don’t normally write reviews, but I felt compelled to write this due to our terrible experience with GJ Gardner Homes Pakenham (Nu Value Homes Pty Ltd - G.J Gardner Homes Pakenham, Victoria). Poor to zero condescending communication,
Post construction maintenance and repair zero - infant builder told me that the last visit any other issue that arise am on my own. So much fo Gj Gardener "builders guarantee" or does each contracted builder come up with there own rules that are not part Gj Gardner ?? We have not been disappointed with GJs at any point during the planning and building of our home, and are delighted with the finish. The house was delivered ahead of schedule and in time for our first Christmas on Phillip Island.
We were communicating our ideas and points for clarification by phone and email from Queensland and at no time were we made to feel a nuisance. Maintaining our trust in them was never an issue, they fully understood what we sought to achieve and delivered above our expectations.

I came to GJ Gardner because the original builder after 2 months of back and forth decided to pull out of the build. Simon and the team went way above what I would consider as great service to make sure that the build went as smoothly as possible.
