We built our dream home thru Metricon and added the driveway package to it
So when it rains the driveway is very slippery so I contact the service team about this issue with my driveway
The service team told me that there is nothing they can do about it as it is to what I paid for.
I was advise that I engage an external trade to apply a non-slip clear coating over the top of the driveway as this will help.
Since I paid them to do the job why do I need to get someone else to fix this on my expense
I had to lay rubber mats on the driveway to avoid any injuries as I have a young family and putting kids in the car is very hazardous

The home design of The Winchester was great, and suited us. We were still able to make amendments to suit our family. Our building supervisor, was brilliant. Always kept us informed, always follwed up with any questions or requests. Our allocated building supervisor was professional and approachable, and overall the time frame from site cut to hand over was great. Thanks!

I built our house at Sale. It was a breeze signing up the Contract and the procedures which followed. The work started on our 4 bedroom on 16th of August 2020 and finished in about 5 months which was astonishing. We were involved at every stage of the construction and our work supervisor [name removed] was simply amazing. The finish of the house is immaculate.
The only point we think need to improve is the studio appointment for selection of exterior and interior features. It would be ideal to do this in 2 days rather than one and giving a computer generated photo of the finished house.
We are happy that we selected Metricon Homes.

We were called for the first visit on 27 March 2020, 2 months earlier than we expect to complete.
The site manager was very organised and he knows what is expected of him to deliver. We noted that an addendum for the light above the kitchen bench was not done, later, this was corrected and they promised to deliver this by completion visit. The building works was amazing and very few immaterial defects were noted to be rectified. The final cost was lesser than the cost presented to us earlier. Great job for ABC homes/Metricom and to our diligent site manager. We are happy to recommend ABC Homes.

Our building supervisor was very kind, friendly and extremely professional in his approach. He has kept us informed on all stages of the build and has also taken keen interest in following up with contractors to fix all defects identified during the build. He is still working out of his way to get us closer to the handover than expected. We are thankful and appreciate the efforts by the team at Metricon, especially during the COVID crisis.

The most professional thing about Metricon, was the building supervisor we were lucky enough to get, [name removed]. Our experience with Metricon office staff leaves a lot to be desired. Fortunately, our supervisors efforts to deliver a quality product (on time) and to listen to, and act on any concerns we had, made the whole experience a rewarding one.

Further more the volume build process has amazed me how well articulated it has become and i would definitely complete the process again without hesitation.

Myself and my partner have just finsihed building our house and everything has been completed perfectly, as well as the house only taking roughly 4 months it has been a great build. Final cost was excatly the same as the contract which was great, no out of pocket cost.
Site manager was great and was always happy to answer any questions or meet out at the house if needed.
We built a Saphire 22 in Dalyston, we love the floor plan and all the work that has been completed on this build has been immaculate.

Our build was so fast, completed in approx 20 weeks, this was much faster than anticipated. Our site supervisor was excellent all the way through, very responsive and available when I wanted to talk to him. The build quality seems excellent too, will definitely recommend to friends and family. We've only had minor issues after handover and all have been addressed professionally and promptly.

We had our house built through ABC Homes by Metricon. All I can say is we are very satisfied with the quality of the build for an affordable price. Our process throughout the building process was very smooth. Sales person [name removed] was very good and transparent. Staff at the head-office [name removed] & [name removed] were very helpful too and were quick in responding our querries. Our site manager [name removed] was very good too. Always provided us with regular updates on work done and seemed very well organised in planning the whole build process. We got our home in almost 3.5 months. Overall very satisfied with the builder.

Our first build of this kind, and we were naturally nervous.
However, the Metricon team proved to be friendly, helpful and competent.
They went out of their way to ensure it was a 'shopping' experience to be recalled fondly.
Nothing was too much trouble, and they made some helpful suggestions along the way.

My build was expertly managed with great support from my Site Manager and the team in the office. The end product is an incredibly designed home built to an excellent standard.
Each week there was an update on progress with no issues occurring during construction. The site was always left in a tidy state and post handover was in a spotless condition.
What a great experience building my first home and I can't wait for my next Metricon build.

Senior Building Support Coordinator,[name removed], has also been super helpful and prompt. With their awesome personalities and their great attention to detail in ensuring that the workmanship is pristine- it is a pleasure liaising with both of them!
