Perfect for the kids

I am deeply frustrated with the service that I have received from Tangerine so far and would like to point out some of frustrating and depressing facts:
I called and placed my order on March 17th, team member charged my account twice and also didn’t put the order in the system.
I called again on March 27th to check the progress and was advised that the order wasn’t placed in the system and someone would expedite my service to be activated as soon as possible.

An Oasis in a Telecommunications Desert
I had a Telstra cable internet connection and was without service for 7 weeks so I switched to Belong ADSL2. If the connection worked at all in the last few weeks, it was extremely slow and intermittent. Belong's call centre is closed, the chat room is automated and provides no technical support. They can't be contacted in any other way and the site provides no way to cancel the "service" so I ended up trying Tangerine. Call centre was exceptional, the technician arrived on time and was very professional. No dropouts so far.

Reliable
We have had the internet for a week now and no drop outs or issues. We initially couldn’t get connected however they sent out an NBN technician and we realised we had the wrong modem for our area. We both work from home and stream tv shows, its been great.

High Speeds, Good Customer Service
Tangerine has delivered on their promise of being an unlimited usage, high-speed NBN provider with great customer service values.
I recently signed up for their XL Speed Boost bundle, for $59 a month, received the modem the day we moved in via courier and even though there was a slight hiccup with the set up (our new house had old, incompatible phone lines), we were able to get the internet up and running at 45Mbps down and 17Mbps up within 12 hours. So far, even during peak times, we haven't had any drop outs and the speed has been consistent.
On top of this, Tangerine has a very capable online customer service presence, with 24 hour live chat on their website, which proved invaluable during the setup and installation process.

Constantly LOST INTERNET and REPAIRED 2 times the issue still continues!! With extremely bad customer service
I start getting this issue since late April, i have INTERNET OUTAGE on 14th April, 15th April, 16th April, then on 23rd April, 24th April (Today), Tangerine has DONE NOTHING to notify me in relation to service outage. Fantastic NBN plan!
After 11 years with our last provider we switched to Tangerine who after some research had the best plan to suit our needs. The entire change over was seemless. Tangerine provided an upgraded modem at a great price and within a week had the technicians out to install our NBN network. The system worked immediately without a single hitch. We could not be happier! The price for fast, reliable service is the best out there. We cannot recommend Tangerine highly enough.

Sensational Customer Service & Fast Speeds
I recently signed up with Tangerine & have been really impressed thus far. I received exemplary customer service from Stuart in technical support after I encountered difficulties setting up my BYO modem, he was so patient & professional during the call & persevered with my technophobic ways until it was working, you're the best Stuart!!! The speeds have been fast, no issues with buffering while watching Netflix, thanks to Tangerine I now have a house full of happy campers!

Disappointed is understatement
Signing up to nbn thought this was going to be a simple process check again firstly I was booked in to receive internet connection on Easter Sunday which I thought was odd who works than? Then I send a message confirming that that was correct which I had a response yes so as expected no one turned up and then Monday I got a new date for another 2 week wait (4 weeks in total) finally hooray! The guy comes to install but some reason not working I call the support team they said 2ic is going to be in touch usually working the hour next day still nothing I saw the reviews on how good this company is and reasonable priced I am very disappointed

It’s been amazing!
The internet never had a crash and being in isolation using Netflix a lot nothing to complain at all. I would recommend to everyone who’s looking to sign up to a new provider. We just had a problem with the nbn box but they sent someone in next day to change it. Great customer service.

A very slow start
I'll be without internet for 11 days when I'm meant to be working from home.
I arranged for the NBN to be connected with Tangerine two weeks prior to moving to our new home on Monday 20th April as I knew I'd be working from home (due to COVID-19 etc). Amazing help from Arianne in Tech Support
I usually never write reviews for things but just wanted to give a little well-deserved shout out to Arianne from Tech Support. She stayed on the phone to help me troubleshoot issues with my own locked modem for more than an hour. Was super helpful and honestly it's been a very long time since I experienced customer support like that.

Daily dropouts are frustrating
I chose Tangerine because they are cheaper than iiNet, but every afternoon around 3pm there are drop outs. Also at 10.30ish you can expect drop outs. Clearly this is a congestion issue that is not fixed at my end. Other than that they provide good speeds.
One final thing there has no information regarding Covid 19 in terms of hardship. I think they could have done better in this regard.

Unbelievably easy and fast!

Quick setup and great speed
Very happy with the Tangerine NBN 50 plan. Customer service was very helpful and friendly. The setup was easy and quick. It was up and running within 30 minutes. The price for this plan is very competitive as well. I was looking at many other companies and Tangerine was one of the cheapest offers. Lastly, speed is great and very reliable. Would definitely recommend.

Exceeds my expectation

Amazing service!
Great speed through all day, without any dropouts. Even in Covid time connected in just a couple of days, good customer service and experienced technicians. BYO modem is nice option, not too complicated to connect. Much more fun provider than big telcos.
