Super delayed delivery date promised 13 weeks max, now 16 weeks! no after sale support! no apology! never again!
We bought a lounge from NS Taren Point on boxing day. The salesman [name removed] was really helpful and we were convinced to buy the lounge. We were told it will take 9 weeks maximum of 13 weeks for the lounge to arrive in very odd situations. We should have received the lounge by this week and latest 3rd week of March. We are having a housewarming party by end of March so we were ok with the time frame as it is 14 weeks from purchase. Surely the lounge will arrive after 14 weeks thats more than 3 months!!! at it will arrive sometime in March as there is a delay and another email saying it will arrive 6 April making it 16 weeks!!! and just saying there is a slight change of ETA! another month is not a slight change!I cant believe there is no apology nor other offer of compensation whatseover! the email ended thank you for choosing Nick Scali! should have went somewhere else! poor aftersale! no consideration for customers, plus the lounge is not cheap! 16 weeks! seriously! never again! and dont buy from NS. we signed a paper stating max 13 weeks! deliver our item as you have promised on time!

A very clever and competent Service Technician
We had ongoing issues with our Black Buffet and in Nick Scali's favour they agreed to have another one of their Service Technicians (Arthur) look at it even though our warranty was well out of date. Arthur was able to adjust/realign and completely correct the construction issues. He was resourceful and thorough. A job very well done.

Pleasant Shopping Experience
We were greeted by Brittany within moments of entering the store. We were simply there to browse but she was very helpful in showing us products and then we found the perfect pieces for our new home. As the home is not yet completed Brittany assisted us with an avenue to be able to still purchase the products on sale and delay the order delivery which suited our needs perfectly. New lounge chairs
My wife and I found it quit easy to navigate the store and easy assess wha t was on offer and quickly narrow down our short list. The range was satisfactory and able to compare as we had visited a number of stores before yours. We don’t have our product home as yet and was advised the delivery person will assemble what ever is required. Your sales consultant who we dealt with both times was Nikita as I said to my wife she was so professional and respectful of our wishes.

dom michael and chris we're on time polite made a difficult delivery look easy with great care they installed my sofa bed in my room with little room for error but they took there time and with a delicut touch installed it with no problem thank you boys for a great experience and a job well done

Satisfied with product, there was an issue with the left hand arm rest on the leather sofa. Pauline de Vos called for assistance and after a not so pleasant response Frank Martelli came to fix the problem, Frank was very efficient, he arrived in good time and completed the work quickly.

Don't believe a word they say. They lie to get your business & don't care when when they can't deliver on time
I ordered a recliner for my nursery 27th of Dec & was very clear that I needed it before the 20th of March when my baby is due. Monica at Belrose who I am told is the Store Manager assured me it would be 10 weeks so I proceeded with the order. I am now told the chair won't be ready until the end of March, after the baby arrives. I have asked whether there is a chair I can borrow & have been flat out told no, there is nothing we can do. Don’t trust them with the warranty
Bought a leather lounge from Nick scali less than 2 years ago. We purchased the extended 7 year warranty leather protection (guardsman) which claims it covers all stains, manufacture faults and accidental damage. Some of the leather on our lounge has come off and struggling to get them to comply with this so having to go to Fair trading and the ACC. Nick scali does not deal with the Original warranty people anymore so one is blaming the other but no one will cover the warranty. Will never purchase from Nick scali again. What a rought

Repair by Arthur
The seat cushions on one of our two-and-a-half seater sofas was dipping on the sides near the armrests. I thought it was because of the springs, which was a concern considering we’ve only had the lounge suite for two years. Arthur assured me the springs were fine. He added additional foam inside the cushions, with an extra layer on the sides closer to the armrests. He completed the job efficiently and effectively within about ten minutes!

I purchased Tallin dining and coffee table from Castle hill in January 2022 store and on one day in May 2022 i was sitting on the couch with my feet on coffee table and suddenly the marble broke and corner of coffee table fell off. I believe this is a very usual and common sitting position in a family area. I can clearly see from the broken side that the marble quality underneath the coating is very poor as crystals are easily coming off from it just by rubbing it with hand. This is surely not a good marble. but when I reported this to Nick Scali, The case officer spoke to my very bluntly and rudely as if i don't have any right to complaint about their product. without even physically checking the table, she closed my case with an argument that i used it inappropriately. this is very bad customer service. and if this is the kind of warranty they offer on their products then this warranty is of no use to anyone.
Can someone from nick scali speak to me and listen from my point of view here?

I understand your opinion but I am average build with 70kg weight, and the net weight on the table wont be more than 5 kg when i am sitting on the couch. I have been using different other wooden and glass tables in similar fashion before but none of them broke. The problem is the case officer didn't even trusted my view. how can she come to a conclusion without checking the marble quality of my table? I was alarmed about the quality of your marble in very beginning when during the delivery in January the dining table marble was broken despite full proof packing. at that time I thought this was one off poor quality product issue but i was wrong.
There were 2 reasons i choose this marble table - First - Because of your brand name and i trusted in your warranty you care for your customers post sale, Second - i expected marble table to be tougher. I have just had a Leather sofa delivered 5 days ago and it stinks of chemicals. We cannot sit on it. We placed two large winter blankets on it in an effort to try to deaden the smell but this did not work on it and the smell is there still. We have tried using a fan and have 5 scented candles buring to get rid of the smell. NO USE. I am a previous customer and this did not happen with the previous lounge but I have been told you have changed manufactures to China and the leather is not the same as the first despite being told it was the same as my first lounge. We are now sitting on the floor as this is better than sitting anywhere on or near the lounge. A technican is coming on wednesday 5 days from now but I do not think we can tolerate the smell or the necessity to have all the windows open all the time. It is now getting cold at night. We are in a small apartment and the previous sofa has been given to family the same day as delivery of the new one. This is a most unsatisfactory, disappointing and disgusting. The smell is so bad it gives you a headache and bad taste in your mouth. We are also extremely concerned the impact of these chemicals is having on our health. The solution will be for you to take this lounge away provide refund and we will look elsewhere as I cannot see how this smell can be removed.

Hi there, we have just had the same problem. What type of couch and colour did you purchase? We purchased the Chifley in white.
Hi Morris we bought the Volante Chocolate have you managed to get the smell out of your couch?
We have used fans today on it to air the lounge all it did was send the foul smell through the whole house.
When we did sit on it with the blankets trying again after adding a third thick blanket the smell went all they way through to our clothes again. It is a very comfortable lounge but the smell is so foul we cannot sit on it.
I really am lost by all of this as the first leather lounge we purchased from them was great no smell and that was less than 3yrs ago in the same color.
It is going to be a very long uncomfortable and very smelly wait till wednesday.
We had our couch taken away Thursday. (2 weeks after delivery of the couch). The toxic odor could not be removed. We also suffered terribly. We went into their store yesterday to look at buying another one of Nick Scali's couches. We looked at the fabric couches, but we did not see anything we liked. We are very concerned that we will end up with toxic odor again with another leather couch. We cannot go through that again. Let us know how you get on. All the best with everything.
