Very disappointed
Bought my furnitures in December and was told they are all in stock. Just a few days before expected delivery scheduled in mid Feb I received a message that my items are not in stock recently and need to wait until APRIL! All what was offered is discounted delivery .. is $120 discount enough compensation? I have bought furnitures worth $6000 and need to wait for them 5 months.. was expecting much better service from such well known company

Terrible
Leather is sagging just after one month of purchase. Nick scali sent there expert to look at it and he said thats normal for leather, so If you don't mind paying thousands of dollars for a recliner that will start sagging very quickly and will look weird go ahead and buy from Nick Scali

Warranty repair of electric recliner
Frank was assigned the task to repair the electric recliner. He was professional, on time and managed to resolve the issue. It work just like brand new. Keep up the good work. Thank you

Warm & Genuine service
Nick Scali furniture is the most stylish on the market. We purchased dining table, 8 dining chairs, buffet and leather lounge. The service we received from Brittany (Warrawong store NSW) was warm and genuine. We felt very comfortable with her sales approach - she was patient and helpful whilst we were making our furniture choice.

Peeling leather lounge after less than 4 years use; Nick Scali says not their problem.
We purchased 3 pieces of Emery leather lounges in their 'protection leather' which they say 'handles the wear and tear that an active lifestyle demands' and 'offers a high degree of protection'. There is a nominal 2 year warranty on the leather which we understand is not plain leather but some sort of treated/painted stuff. At less than 4 years old some of the seat surfaces are showing peeling. i requires. Basically Nick requires you must buy their leather treatment kit and then use it 4 times a year or they will say any fault is all your problem. The inspector concluded we had not done the required maintenance and that was all Nick needed to abandon us. The proposition that a $5k leather lounge requires expensive proprietary quarterly treatments or it will peel after less than 4 years normal use is ridiculous. The use of the treatment 'get-out' clause is designed to absolve Scalis of any responsibilty for damage. Why sell this couch if you know it won't tolerate normal use? So beware - if you buy this type of lounge you must also buy the matching scali leather treatments, and apply them quarterly forever (plus somehow document the treatments). Otherwise you will have no help from Nick Scali in the event of peeling - a problem that seems common when I googled online reviews/complaints.1 comment

As you can appreciate, leather is a natural product which, like our skin, needs to be cleaned and moisturised regularly to ensure it's longevity. Peeling/cracking is caused due to dust/dirt and body oil being trapped in-between the grains of leather causing them dry out and as result, causing peeling/cracking to occur. We provide care products to assist with the maintenance and upkeep of leather products which can be applied in the comfort of your home. We recommend leather lounges be cleaned regularly and the care products we provide be used every 3-4 months. Very Bad customer service. Arrogant sales people.
Very bad customer service in both Auburn and Marsden park store.
Always argue and focus on selling rather product information delievry.
Nickscali charges high delivery fee.
Very bad payment policy.They have weird policy is that credit card surcharge attract upon balance payment. this is ridiculous.
money doesn't justify the quality and service. Won't buy the any product every again.

Starts nice ends like hell
The staff in the store are very nice, the service outstanding, then you buy and things start going sour, but the worst thing of all is the delivery, after you spend $6,000 they tell you that there is a delivery fee depending where you are, in our case it was $90, my wife had to stay home from 1 to 5, at 4 we called and they gave us the drivers phone number but he just didn't answer at all at 6PM we got to speak with him, then nothing again at 7:45 we got through and he got to our home at 8PM demanding to see the papers that we had paid the couc...Read more
hes we couldn't find them and because off the time the office was closed, at the end we did find the papers 8:45PM then they refused to deliver until I paid them the $90, after they left I walked out side to find all the boxes in our front yard. Please don't buy from Nick Scali!!!!!!!!2 comments

2 months to get a technician out but technician was great
The second time our recliner stopped working so they replaced the motor. Had to wait two months to get someone out but Frank the technician was excellent. On time, quick and courteous.

I purchased Tallin dining and coffee table from Castle hill in January 2022 store and on one day in May 2022 i was sitting on the couch with my feet on coffee table and suddenly the marble broke and corner of coffee table fell off. I believe this is a very usual and common sitting position in a family area. I can clearly see from the broken side that the marble quality underneath the coating is very poor as crystals are easily coming off from it just by rubbing it with hand. This is surely not a good marble. but when I reported this to Nick Scali, The case officer spoke to my very bluntly and rudely as if i don't have any right to complaint about their product. without even physically checking the table, she closed my case with an argument that i used it inappropriately. this is very bad customer service. and if this is the kind of warranty they offer on their products then this warranty is of no use to anyone.
Can someone from nick scali speak to me and listen from my point of view here?

As our goods are all custom ordered and built for purpose, I hope you can appreciate that the size and weight of a person's legs are significantly different to what can be expected from crockery and foods.

I understand your opinion but I am average build with 70kg weight, and the net weight on the table wont be more than 5 kg when i am sitting on the couch. I have been using different other wooden and glass tables in similar fashion before but none of them broke. The problem is the case officer didn't even trusted my view. how can she come to a conclusion without checking the marble quality of my table? I was alarmed about the quality of your marble in very beginning when during the delivery in January the dining table marble was broken despite full proof packing. at that time I thought this was one off poor quality product issue but i was wrong.
There were 2 reasons i choose this marble table - First - Because of your brand name and i trusted in your warranty you care for your customers post sale, Second - i expected marble table to be tougher. I have just had a Leather sofa delivered 5 days ago and it stinks of chemicals. We cannot sit on it. We placed two large winter blankets on it in an effort to try to deaden the smell but this did not work on it and the smell is there still. We have tried using a fan and have 5 scented candles buring to get rid of the smell. NO USE. I am a previous customer and this did not happen with the previous lounge but I have been told you have changed manufactures to China and the leather is not the same as the first despite being told it was the same as my first lounge. We are now sitting on the floor as this is better than sitting anywhere on or near the lounge. A technican is coming on wednesday 5 days from now but I do not think we can tolerate the smell or the necessity to have all the windows open all the time. It is now getting cold at night. We are in a small apartment and the previous sofa has been given to family the same day as delivery of the new one. This is a most unsatisfactory, disappointing and disgusting. The smell is so bad it gives you a headache and bad taste in your mouth. We are also extremely concerned the impact of these chemicals is having on our health. The solution will be for you to take this lounge away provide refund and we will look elsewhere as I cannot see how this smell can be removed.

Hi there, we have just had the same problem. What type of couch and colour did you purchase? We purchased the Chifley in white.
Hi Morris we bought the Volante Chocolate have you managed to get the smell out of your couch?
We have used fans today on it to air the lounge all it did was send the foul smell through the whole house.
When we did sit on it with the blankets trying again after adding a third thick blanket the smell went all they way through to our clothes again. It is a very comfortable lounge but the smell is so foul we cannot sit on it.
I really am lost by all of this as the first leather lounge we purchased from them was great no smell and that was less than 3yrs ago in the same color.
It is going to be a very long uncomfortable and very smelly wait till wednesday.
We had our couch taken away Thursday. (2 weeks after delivery of the couch). The toxic odor could not be removed. We also suffered terribly. We went into their store yesterday to look at buying another one of Nick Scali's couches. We looked at the fabric couches, but we did not see anything we liked. We are very concerned that we will end up with toxic odor again with another leather couch. We cannot go through that again. Let us know how you get on. All the best with everything.

As leather is a natural product, the leather on your lounge will stretch over time with use and as such, this is not considered a manufacturing fault. Furthermore, as the foam in your lounge will also compress with frequent use, this may contribute to the leather of your lounge not being as taught as when you had first received it.
